Samsung W27 foldable leaks days before launch

Samsung is preparing to launch the W27, its latest China-exclusive luxury foldable, and a leaked photo has now surfaced showing the back of the device. According to a well-known tipster, it will be unveiled on October 29.

The leak points to a close relationship with the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The tipster claims the two phones have identical specs, and the triple camera setup and pill-shaped camera island match as well. The design details, including dark blue finish, gold frame accents and the W series gold seal logo, set the W27 apart as a premium regional model.

Why it matters: sharing hardware across a flagship line and a regional luxury variant is a common way to manage cost and development time, while still giving customers in specific markets a distinct product. For those following foldable strategy, the W27 is a useful signal of how Samsung segments its premium lineup.
