Apple Opens iOS 27.3 Beta to Testers

Apple has released the first iOS 27.3 developer beta to testers, alongside first developer betas of iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and visionOS 27.3. That coordinated rollout signals how tightly Apple is aligning its platforms around a shared release cycle.

The iOS 27.3 beta 1 introduces a redesigned Health app and several Audio Intelligence features, including Siri Recap and Live Rewind on Apple Watch. These changes show Apple pushing AI-driven features deeper into everyday health and wearable experiences.

The beta also brings Apple Intelligence features to China, as confirmed last week. Expansion into new markets is a meaningful step, but the gaps matter too: not all features are available to testers yet, and Siri AI is notably still missing.

For product, design and engineering teams, betas like this are a useful window into where the platform is heading and which features will need support, testing and documentation.
