Galaxy F70 5G Launches in India on October 18

Samsung has revealed key specs and a launch date for the Galaxy F70 5G, with a Flipkart microsite pointing to an India launch on October 18. The starting price is not yet confirmed in the listing, but the report suggests it will sit below INR 20,000 (about $225).

The phone is reported to include an FHD+ Super AMOLED display, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, the Exynos 1330 chipset and a 50MP main camera with OIS. For the budget segment, that combination of display, camera stabilization and 5G connectivity is what buyers increasingly expect at this price.

The launch also fills out a busy Galaxy F-series lineup. The F70e launched in February, the F70 Pro in August, and the vanilla F70 appeared in Google's database last week.
