vivo X500 Ultra still on track for spring launch
Flagship launch timelines are getting harder to predict. Reports that Oppo has put its Find X10 Ultra on hold and Xiaomi cancelled its 18 Ultra raised questions about whether vivo would follow. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the vivo X500 Ultra remains on track for a March or April launch next year. The original timing came from vivo's VP of Product in September, who confirmed a China launch. For anyone tracking the phone market, this is a useful reminder that confirmed plans are not guaranteed, even when a company has said them publicly. Watching how rivals adjust their roadmaps may tell us more about where premium Android is heading than any single launch date.
